I’m using this as a power supply for LED candles on my front porch. Within 15 minutes of receiving it, it was wired in and working good. Too bright outside for a picture right now.My problem is with delivery. I was promised Monday. Said it was out for delivery, then it was processed again and then back, and then a delivery delay. Got it Tuesday finally after 6:30 pm. You would think that packages that were not delivered as promised would be delivered first thing the next day. Don’t understand the business model the delivery people use. Just a rant and a vent.

Thin (fits in the space under a typical upper cabinet). Solid (the product feels good, good weight, aluminum body, and a nice thick power chord). Easy (mounted with a couple of machine screws directly under my cabinets).I cut the head of the chord off, and shortened it considerably. I hard-wired this fixture into a j-box which I had provided specifically for my LED circuit, then mounted this driver under the cabinets, and took the LEDs straight from this power supply. They burn consistently, and the driver never gets hot.Very clean, and professional looking installation. Great transformer.Note, the A/C wires of this transformer are color coded per EU, so you will have to look up the brown/blue/green conversion to red/black/bare. That is, if you cut the head of the power chord off...

I chose to give this product a rating of FIVE stars because I have three of these LED drivers in service for over seven months now and they continue to perform like the day I deployed them. Several of the reviewers complain that the 12-volt output cord is too short. For my application, the length of cord was just right. Not too short, and not too long. I recommend this product to all professionals who want to build their own, low-voltage kitchen lighting system. This is a very reliable LED driver that powers all my interior cabinet lights. These drivers are just the right size, and they deliver the power I need. I’m using this LED driver with eight, “Lighting EVER 1-Watt LED Down lights, 10 Watt Halogen Replacement, Recessed down lighting“. There’s no hum whatsoever and they do not heat up. Use as intended; do not overdrive them by overloading. Buy with confidence.

I ordered this constant-current LED driver when I replaced the halogen bulbs in a china cabinet with LED's that use 1.4 watts instead of 20 for the halogens. The old transformer (120V to 12V) was "for halogen lights only". Translation: CHEAP. Halogens stay on longer during the 60 cycle off time than LED's, which was why my new LED's had a significant flicker problem.. The Ledwholesalers unit must have sophisticated circuitry and capacitance to eliminate the problem--which it did beautifully with not a hint of flicker. The light color is warm white (about 4000K), nicely bright (20W equivalent) and no heat at all. Yea!! Success is so sweet!. I forgot to add--expected life is 50,000 hours versus 5,000 for the halogen. Also, the bulbs have 8 cells which "spreads " the light out much better than the single bulb halogen. This reduces shadows and makes for a more comfortable light source.

This power supply works as advertised, I was able to power a long strip of LEDs with minimal problems. When I had the unit under load, I noticed that it would get very warm, almost too hot to touch depending on your heat tolerance. I did have the unit at about 85% load, so I expected some heat, but not very much since it gets only intermittent use at about 15-20 minutes per use. It does have an aluminum case which I suspect is tied to the regulators inside so as to use it as a heatsink, a common practice on low-end power supplies. I haven't tested its water resistance, but the aluminum case does not have any apparent seams down the length and the ends appear to be properly sealed off. This unit still works fine for powering LEDs, (or anything else) just be aware that due to the design, you'll want to make sure that it is placed where it can get a reasonable airflow and of course don't have it touching anything that is more flammable than the norm or touching anything that could melt, even a few inches away would probably be sufficient to prevent problems. All in all a decent power supply for the low price point.
