Clean-cutting and flat - these are average quality basswood sheets, suitable for crafting, artwork, model building, etc... These cut well with my 10W diode laser, with uniform density producing reliable through-cuts. Engraving was also as expected. All in all, these are about the same as many of the other bulk basswood packs, but substantially cheaper than many of the smaller packs. I'm quite happy with these!

My daughter-in-law is a crafter. For Christmas every year she makes beautiful wood burned pieces of art. Sometimes she does cutting boards and other times wooden boxes. For her birthday this year we bought her these basswood sheets. They are beautiful pieces of lightweight wood. She was excited thinking about all the ways that she could use them for crafting. These are solid wood pieces not plywood. Very satisfied with this purchase. Good gift.

These are not perfectly flat, even though they come shrink wrapped together. Once they are opened some of them bend from the middle. They also do not perfectly engrave everywhere with my machine. Some spots come out lighter than others and some are easier to cut through. While no one can expect sheets like these to be "perfect" they should be at least consistent and I don't fine them to be very consistent. But, they do make good test sheets for designs and place holders for templates. Although I will not be using these for a final product they are handy for other uses.

These plywood sheets are some of the best I’ve used for laser work. The size is accurate, measuring slightly over 12” square, and the thickness is a true 1/8”, which is helpful for precise laser settings. The wood quality is excellent, with no seams and very little warping. There were a few small knots and a minor machine line on some sheets, but they sand out easily and don’t affect usability.The sheets arrived well-packaged, shrink-wrapped, and protected in a sturdy box with no damage. They are smooth, easy to stencil or burn on, and produce clean engraving results. Overall, this is high-quality plywood with minimal imperfections, making it a great choice for laser cutting, engraving, and wood-burning projects.

I have ordered many plywood sheets for my laser work, and these are among the best.Size: The advertised size is 12”x12”x1/8”. The measured size on my sheets is 12 1/32” square. The thickness is also listed as 3mm. The measured thickness on one sheet averaged 3.17mm or 1/8” measured in 6 locations. Make sure if you are using these sheets on a laser to take the actual thickness into account when you are setting up your laser.Seams: This was a pleasant surprise – there were NO seams on any of my sheets. This is a first for me.Warping: There is no noticeable warping on my sheets.Defects: 6 sheets had a small line across the sheet. It is about 1/8” wide and a little rougher than the rest of the sheet. It appears to be from the manufacturing process. In any case, the line does easily sand out so it is not a big issue. A few sheets had small knots of around ¼” in diameter. This is typical and not a big issue IMO. There was some edge chipping on 1 edge on 1 sheet. (see photos for pics of some of the defects)Shipping: The sheets were shrink wrapped and packed in a tight-fitting cardboard box. They arrived free of shipping damage.In summary, these are close to the best sheets I have purchased. They are slightly larger than advertised and a true 1/8” thick, no seams, very few knots, and no warping. The only issue was the machine line across 6 sheets which is easily sanded out.

I got these for my husband who just started getting into wood burning. These were perfect for practice. They are easy to draw and stencil on and they're very smooth. There wasn't a ton of sawdust all over them and they were packaged really well! I highly recommend this for anybody who uses an engraving machine and wood burner.
