I got this specifically for cutting cement board on my table saw, and it's been great for that use. Cuts very cleanly, with a minimal amount of dust. Fits my Delta 10" table saw with no problems. Compared to other types of blades for this use, I think it's a very fair price. Well packaged, with a box that can be reused for storage to keep the teeth protected.

This blade cut right through hardibacker during remodeling projects, no problems at all. It looks to have held up well after a few days of cuts and I'll watch it longer term. I always get dust (wear breathing protection kids - also if you are a kid don't use a diamond tipped cement cutting saw, leave something oh so fun for your adulthood) so I was set up for handing that and didn't see a huge difference. It was certainly no worse than past blades.

I have been cutting a lot of Hardie Plank while re-siding a building on the farm. I usually cut with a DCS498 shear, but sometimes I need to use the 12” miter saw. I have the actual Diablo 12” cement siding blade. I compared this “Xmnbl 12 Inch 8T PCD Tip Fiber Cement Blade” to the actual Diablo brand. The carbide blade tips are smaller on the Xmnbl. I’m not sure how that will affect tip heating, and eventual blade life. Initial cuts seem acceptable, and the dust creation is about the same. My saw is tied to a HEPA filtered shop vacuum. This blade seems to be very similar to the actual brand name blade. To me, the price difference is not significant enough to go with the less expensive blade. So, 4 stars, it works, but the prices are too similar.

Basically 1 for 1 knockoff of Diablo's Hardieblade, but for 15% less. A must have if you plan on doing any hardie board installs. Does generate dust while cutting, so be sure to take proper precautions to prevent inhaling the dust. The dust also needs to be cleared from your miter saw after use, so have an air compressor ready. Also make cuts as if you're cutting metal not wood, meaning nice and slow. And don't try to cut either metal or wood with this blade! Don't be lazy and do take the time to swap out blades between materials.

I have been using a smaller Diablo blade on a circular saw for straight cuts to fiber cement lap siding. I ordered this to make consistent angle cuts as I re-side up to eaves under my angled roof gables. This blade cuts clean edges just as well as the Diablo one does and is a little bit less expensive. The 5/8 arbor fits my compound miter saw perfectly.

I don't know this brand at all, but it clearly has a unique design. It's meant for cutting hard materials like cement board or laminate flooring. You'll ruin your woodworking blades if you use them, but this does a much better job. It says it has polycrystalline diamond tipped teeth, but to be honest, I'm not really clear on what that actually means. I had to look it up, and online it said that it's "diamond grit that has been fused together under high-pressure, high-temperature conditions." Then I looked up if it was stronger or more durable than what most of us are familiar with, tungsten carbide tipped teeth. I found that it's "much harder than Tungsten Carbide therefore much more wear resistant." I assumed so since it was composed of diamonds, but wanted to know for sure. And that's why this is so much better with materials harder than simple hardwood. I think it would have been a benefit to them to explain this on their product page for those of us who didn't know. The cuts it makes on those difficult materials is quite good. I'm very pleased with this blade, especially since I can now save my woodworking blades for wood.

I ordered this $60 Xmnbl 12-inch 8-tooth PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) Tip Cement circular saw blade (Amazon ASIN B0DQ8TSGQ3) to cut half-inch thick rough sandstone using my 1-inch arbor. I'm using it for a decking project which I'm starting, and I needed a new saw blade as my old blades were worn.Note: the saw blade itself is made out of a steel alloy where only the 8 cutting tips are a tungsten carbide base, where only the tip of that cutting tip is the polycrystalline diamond edge of the tooth that does the cutting. I know the Amazon listing says the bulk of the cutting tip is titanium carbide, but from what I know about such things, it's tungsten carbide, not titanium carbide. Caveat emptor. As you can see from my photos, the spec for this blade is "D 305" (meaning a diameter of 305 mm, which is 12 inches; 8 teeth; with a bore of 25.4 (which is the arbor size of 1 inch), and a kerf of 2.2 mm (which is about 3/32 inch, which is thin). The blade is specifically designed to cut fiber cement, which is made from a mixture of Portland cement, sand, water, and cellulose fibers, and as such, is a rather abrasive material to cut through. The 8 cutting tips of the blade are made from a hard synthetic diamond material, which is just about the hardest material we will ever have on a saw, so it should stay sharp for a long time, even in my abrasive environment. As for the claim that this blade can "reduce breathing dust by nearly half", all that means is that 8 tips create about half as much dust as 16 tips would have because there is more gullet room in the middle for the dust to blow away.Upon close inspection, the 8 teeth appear to exhibit a flat-top grind, rather than the more complex Triple Chip Grind (TCG) typically preferred for abrasive materials. On the blade is printed "60X more cutting" which likely refers to the fact that a diamond-tipped tooth should last about 60 times longer than a comparable carbide-only blade under similar cutting conditions. Also, note from my pictures that the blade has multiple expansion slots or heat dissipation slots which should help prevent warp when the blade heats up from friction. While I'm sure the 8-tooth blade may more effectively channel away the swarf (cuttings and dust) than a 16-tooth blade, there are other considerations to be made when comparing two different saw blades with different numbers of teeth, such that the difference could be a wash when you consider other factors such as the 8-toothed blade cuts faster by taking a bigger bite but the cut is more coarse and there is more vibration compared to a 16-toothed blade which produces a finer cut with less vibration, even if there is more dust due to the lesser gullet distance.Overall, this 8-tooth PCD blade is great for fast, rough cuts, with less dust when dealing with fiber cement materials, but it produces relatively large chips as a result.
