Not bad to install and makes a big difference in the sound. Use a dremel to remove the old glue. Take your time and be care. Watch YouTube videos before install. They are way too expensive for a piece of foam but just like a lot of other things is what it is.

Perfect fit! I didn’t get them for speakers, but resonators ( a method used by Infinity in the 80’s to boost bass). Great to hear what was missing.

The product is fine, but their customer support is non existent. Their website states they accept returns with approval, but there's no email provided and the phone number is automated with a full voicemail box. There are other suppliers of these parts with much better customer support.

These angled foam speaker surround replacements are better than expected. They are significantly thicker and better made than the original dry rotted surrounds on the Realistic 40-1026 12” speakers I used them on. They were relatively easy to install on and off over 2 days. Remove the foam edge surround ring and the old foam surround. Then scrape off the old foam/glue with a utility blade on the speaker side and use a small chisel on the speaker frame. The rubber cement glue provided is the way to go as it gets tacky in about 3 - 5 minutes from application making it easy to stick and adjust pretty quickly. Glue the foam inner speaker bottom side first and spread with your finger, then flip it over and attach it to the inner edge of the speaker making sure you position it properly. Clean your finger quickly with mineral spirits and dry before connecting the surround to the speaker. Don’t wait long to attach to the speaker or it will harden on you. Press it around in a circle for a few minutes from the top and bottom at the same time until it sticks well. Wait about an hour and then run another bead of glue around the inner speaker frame (no need to spread it for this) and attach the outer edge of the surround to the frame smoothing it on with your finger until it adheres well. Then glue the foam edge surround ring back on. No need to remove the center dust cover. They look and sound great. I would definitely buy this product again.
