I have series BVMC Mr. Coffee automatic drip pot. I think I paid about $20 ‐ $25 for it, a couple years ago, at Walmart. The coffee pot I had before that was about $15, but this was years ago. I remember dropping and breaking the carafe of the first coffee maker we had, and was hoping to find a replacement for about $5, but ended up getting a whole new machine.A few weeks back, I noticed a tiny ding at the base of my current carafe. It wasn't getting worse and didn't leak, but since I found this, I thought, "why not"? I didn't even look at the price, because I wasn't actually paying for it. It will be nice to have a spare, just in case, but for me to spend about $22 on just a carafe, when I can get a whole new machine for about the same price, is not cost effective. My last coffee maker just died for reasons unknown. I even took it apart to see if I could figure out why.Bottom Line: Yes, measurements are not exact, but plenty close enough to be fully compatible with my BVMC series (look at the serial number underneath your coffee maker), but the cost of this carafe is just too high to justify not just getting a whole new machine, especially if you have an older machine that may be on its way out anyway.
