This item does not allow for my Deere 4100 HST to operate correctly. Seems to be preventing fuel delivery from happening properly. Unsure if it has damaged the fuel pump.

Worked good once, for two hours cutting grass.The second time the grass needed cut, this solenoid when up in smoke shortly after starting the tractor.

This solenoid works by pushing the rack closed when deenergized, therefore the outward force of the plunger has to be enough to push the rack closed in order to shutdown the engine. This solenoid would not shutdown the engine. When compared to the original the pressure exerted by the plunger was noticeably weaker. We purchased the OEM solenoid instead and again compared the force of the plunger with the same obvious results.We didn't attempt a return because we had to remove the electric connector in our installation.

So far it seems to be working fine on a 2003 JD 2210. The ending shuts off rougher than before but not a big deal.
