A single 55" Festool FS-1400/2 costs $150, two would be $300. The interconnects to join two pieces and anti-slip rubber strips are also additional cost items. So this set of TWO 55" rails, with the included interconnects and replacement anti-slip lengths, is a KILLER deal. My Festool clamps fit these, too. Kinda illustrates how over-priced Festool is. Me? I'm a really happy boy, now having multi-interconnect expanded options at around a 70% price savings. Recommended? You betcha. Highly recommended? Darn straight.

Until I upgrade and get a track saw, I am using these guides with my circular saw and other tools that benefit from a straight edge guide while in use. I saw this application on a YouTube video - the guy’s track saw was damaged in a flood, so he used his guides with his circular saw for a project. I still need practice on all things woodworking, but these guides help me with long straight cuts that are harder for me with just the circular saw plate. I also set up the guides as an edge for my small trim router to help me get consistent routed edges.Happy to have added these guide pieces to my workshop!
