this plastic smoother broke very quickly. its the plastic, its too brittle .Going back to the old way I used to make them from a a 2 gallon or 5 gallon bucket. They cut easilywith a straight edge and a sheet rock knife. Just score and snap .

They'll get the job done but they are rather flimsy material. I would have preferred sturdier construction. Not bad for the price but depending on the job, you may want to go with a different brand.
