had to return them. Needed more coarse, 49 g. instructions for return was to whole foods but qr code was wrong and they could not give me a receipt. hope it gets there. bernie B

I did a lot of wood working and repair this summer. I needed to do a lot of heavy duty sanding and needed several belts to finish the work. These belts fit and worked well.

I was a carpenter for 35 years, so got to try many different types of sanding belts over the years.and I found the Mercer to be the best. The big box stores where I live mostly sell what they call a ceramic belt, that is supposed to last 3x longer, and are 3x the price of a Mercer belt, which in my opinion, will outlast the ceramic belt. you dont go wrong buying the Mercer belt

Used to sand antique heat pine flooring. Stood up well to the sap still in the floor, and cheep enough to not feel like I had to use the belt to death before changing.

Sanding belts - 3"X 21" - 40, 60, 80, 120, 200 grit. #1 Like: An arrow on the inside of the belt shows the install direction. Not all belts have this feature. I don't know how you are expected to use belts without it. #2 Like: Normally I get about 30 minutes of hard work from a belt before it breaks; not these. They have held together; in-fact, I have re-installed one of the 40-grit belts to knock down a small high spot (pecan wood table), #3 Like: I am a hobbyist with hobbyist tools. These belts are professional grade. They make all the difference in the world.
