This tool is perfect for removing the old and installing the new Harmonic Damper/Balancer on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011 v6 Pentastar Engine. The length of the four pins are long and grip tight. Very thick material. I don't recommend using a torch on the bolt as some may say online because in my opinion, you may damage your front seal with the heat. I don't recommend the starter bump method because it is dangerous. And even with this tool plus the breaker bar, you will have to push with all your might. But after some 90 degree movement, you can expect the bolt to loosen and then finish the work. The proper torque for reinstalling the bolt is 30 foot pounds and then a 105 degree additional rotation after. The torquing requires muscles too, but it is very very possible with this tool because the tool will keep the harmonic balancer from spinning. Also, on the Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011, 3.6L v6 Pentastar, you will not need special tools for pulling, nor you will need a special tool for installing. After bolt is removes, the Harmonic Balancer comes out with ease and goes in like hot butter. Be very gentle in insertion, make sure you line up correctly with the key woodruff. Search google key woodruff if you don't know what it is. But it is the pin that keeps the Harmonic Balancer in place, I guess from spinning. I was so happy thanking God when the bolt was loose and when I completed the work. The old Harmonic Balancer had a slight wobble that made some weird sounds. I thought that I had internal engine problems. The old Harmonic Balancer would make a constant low frequency that was alarming. I thought that my crank shaft or related parts were finally on their way out. By the way, I change my oil every 3000 miles ever sense I purchased the car with 189,000 miles back in 2019. I use Mopar synthetic high mileage. My car currently has a total of 252,000 miles and am trying to make it to 300,000 one day. After completing the work, car sounds smooth and no more weird sounds. I would like to keep it that way for as long as I can. Have a great day.

of course there's other ways, i.e. starter bump, belt kink, and impact wrench. But this always works easily.
