These are no good for tile. Cannot drill into tile. Not worth buying. They don't work.

Cut wood and metal. These bits are useful. I used them to get a broken screw out of a doorThey took out the screw and wood. They do burn the wood but no problem. Need a guide hole to get it started. Like a hole in a piece of wood or they will walk on you

We had yo drill 4 holes in the wall in porcelain tiles so we could hang up a shelf. I used a spray bottle with water to keep it wet while my husband drilled. Worked great! We used 1 bit for each hole, but it was well worth it!

I needed to drill several 6mm holes into roof tile and tried these bits, as they seemed to be the recommended drill bits for such a job on several YouTube videos. Maybe they work on some tiles, but they were of no real help on the cement tiles I have on my roof. Starting the hole with these bits was tricky (I had to use a regular masonry bit to start to hole and then swap) and then progress was extremely slow. The bits clogged up continuously even though I was rinsing them off every 10 seconds and I'm sure that's part of the reason they lost their ability to cut after a while. Not suitable for my application.

I mean they technically work, it only takes 3.5 bits to drill one hole. They burn out very quickly for drilling ceramic, but does work eventually when you keep swapping out bits.Update 11-12-22 I have tried these bits on other sized ceramic pots and they worked quite a bit better on the thinner ones, so I changed my rating to be 4 stars

Which was drilling through some very large ceramic bathroom tiles to hang a shower curtain rod. These bits worked quite well, each one lasting for about 1½ to 2 holes. I dipped them in water several times as I drilled each hole to cool the bit. Luckily, you get 10 of them, and I only had to drill four holes. So. . . bits left over for the next job!

I used 6 bits to drill through one porcelain tile (5/16 thick). Needed to drill 2 holes so I ran out of these bits for second hole.Spend the extra money and buy a better set.

Surprise that I was able to get 12 holes out of a single bit given this was very hard Vitrified porcelain. Just use water and don't burn it out. Super value for money. Whoever had trouble using it just should not be given tools.
