Sturdy and solid glass stein. Heavy but easy to hold. Looks exactly like the ones they use in the Munich Hofbrauhaus. Classy looking stein that keeps your beer cold. Cold beer tastes the best. Can be used drink many different kinds of liquids. Best for beer

Great mugs with one small problem.I ordered two mugs and read great reviews. When the mugs came, I was extatic. I opened the first one and it was outstanding. Great heavy glass mug crafted with good quality. The mug alone is worth the price. I did notice the Hofbräu label was a little "stickery" and have some concerns of it pealing off over time.My concerns about the emblem and lettering was confirmed as I opened the 2nd mug and saw that the "M" in Munich came already damaged/smeared and I could tell at this time that it was not a high quality label on the glass.I love the mugs! But the labeling leaves me a little put off as does the fact one came smugged.

I'm in college and drink fairly seldom. The only other steins I've used have been cheap novelty items. I purchased two of these steins and boy do the hold as much as they look like they can. Depending on the drink, you can fit about 3-4 bottles. These things are fun to look at and hold! I have relatively large hands and the handles are very comfortable and large. So far, drinks remain cold fairly long due to the thick glass. The dimples feel good to grip, and I have received a few compliments in the limited time I've owned them. The only downside is that they are a little cumbersome to wash in a sink. All in all, I would recommend this item to anyone wanting the best looking glass out there.

I was in Munich about 5 years ago and brought one of these bad boys back with me in my suitcase. I try not to use it too much because the foil portion of the logo scratches easily and it's one of my only souvenirs from the trip so it means a lot to me.Well, with the local Oktoberfest coming up this weekend, I wanted to drink beer out of my giant glass stein but didn't want to risk damaging mine once I've had a few. I'm so glad I ordered this one because it is an almost perfect replica. Both the logo and the type are a little smaller and are in a slightly different position that my original, but honestly, if someone had just swapped them on me I probably wouldn't have been any the wiser. It's really only apparent which is which when they're side by side. Now I have one for show and one for go!Also, bonus points for it being packaged well and having Prime shipping available.

Got this for my fiance's birthday - he bought one when we were in Munich, Germany in 2005 at the real "Hofbrauhaus Munchen," loves it and wanted more so I bought him another 3. Much better price than I found elsewhere and cheaper than shipping from Germany, nevermind going there to get one! This one looks almost exactly like the original - I'm posting a user pic that shows them side by side. The only different I notice is that the original has a font that's slightly bigger and the logo is slightly lower. While great for decoration or as a conversation piece, my fiance actually uses this! It holds at least 3 beers, but he usually puts in 2 so it's easier to carry and hold.

Anyone going to Munich HAS TO GO TO the HofBrau Haus. It would be the same as going to N.Y & seeing the Statue Of Liberty. If you are a TRUE German or of German decent, then you have to LUV Beer. Germans are proud of this & rightly so. Proof is drinking beer in 1 Liter Mugs at the Hofbrau Haus. The Very Best Beer in the Very Best Mug.WUNDERBAR Beer drinking in this Mug that is an EXACT Dimpled original Mug with The Official Hofbrau "HB" Logo on it. Thick Cut Glass to keep the beer cold, with NO Heavy false bottoms, like in other mugs. Germans pride themselves in efficiency. CAUTION to lightweights, TWO Mugs of Beer is equivalent to a six pack. Das is Goodt. Drink Up & Prost!

Although this is made in Turkey, this glass stein is very nice. I don't have any visible flaws on my glass stein so I think it's safe to say it's perfect; however, the shipping is kind of on the pricey side.So for its price + S&H, what do you get?1) You get this Munchen glass stein in a nice big box filled with foam to protect it2) Another box that encases the stein itself3) Very speedy delivery - it came on the first expected day Amazon statedNow for the ups and downs:Pro(s):- Great quality, thick glass (might be better if it were made in Germany, but the price would definitely go up)- Keeps beverage cold for a good duration- Strong textured handle- Holds a literCon(s):- Pricey but I wanted to enjoy Oktoberfest properly- Not free shippingPut this glass stein in a freezer for at least 15 minutes and then pop 2-3 ice cold cans/bottles of your favorite brand and boom! You just got yourself a piece of Heaven. Now since it's October, I'm going to take this to an Oktoberfest event for them to fill up. Ziggy Zaggy Ziggy Zaggy Oiy Oiy Oiy!!!Cheers!
