This part saved my bacon! Easy to install and with the corresponding locking/latch mechanism, fixed my machine right up! Took less than 10 minutes and saved me about 350 bucks!

My dryer likes to be shut "very gently". The latch has broken several times even though I try to close it gently. Rather than have to call the service repairman, who charges a trip charge, only to be told they will have the part sent to me and then come back to install it, I just ordered several of these and put the new one on whenever one breaks. No trip charge and no delay in getting the door fixed.
